Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although spacious with sufficient storage areas, were disappointing as mine felt like a converted store room near a service lift, nothing like the pictures on the website. However, the service from the staff, especially Mr Casanova, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location in Vienna 1 was impeccable, near major sights and attractions, but the interior courtyard view was lackluster. The dining experience was versatile and delicious, with a fantastic selection of dishes, making up for some shortcomings. Overall, the hotel offers a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable. The rooms overlooking the Opera House, named after one of the opera's former Directors, had a great historic style. However, there were a few minor issues during our five-night stay that affected the overall experience.
I had a perfect stay over the Valentine's weekend at this hotel. The location opposite the Opera House is superb, and the rooms, furnished in period pieces with modern amenities, were top-notch. The exemplary service, especially from Concierge Deiter, added to the overall fantastic experience. However, there were moments when the staff seemed stretched, particularly during breakfast times.
The hotel is excellently located next to the Vienna State Opera, making it a fantastic spot for exploring the city. The rooms are spacious with a walk-in closet, though a bit small for larger devices like laptops. The service is top-notch, with a very personable and engaging staff. The dining experience offers sumptuous options, including a variety of regional specialties. However, the lack of space in the rooms for certain devices may be a drawback.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, which were actually an apartment with 1 1/2 baths, living room, and bedroom, offered a fine dining experience for an evening meal, but the surprise additional cost of 500 euros more than my original booking dampened my overall impression. The rooms retained their history and pre-war architectural beauty with all modern conveniences.
The hotel is ideally located across the street from the State Opera House, offering immaculate surroundings and easy access to historical sites. The rooms were both sizable and well-appointed, although some furniture was broken, and the bathroom felt dated. Service was exceptional, with staff accommodating various requests and recommending excellent nearby restaurants. The dining options were delicious, including a diverse selection and unique honey from the hotel's rooftop hive.
The hotel offers spacious, well-decorated rooms that are clean and comfortable, with a very nice bathroom and high-quality toiletries. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring all needs are taken care of promptly. The location is perfect, within walking distance to major attractions and public transport hubs. The dining experience is excellent, featuring a wide selection of delicious dishes. A few aspects to consider are the need to improve breakfast waiting times and offer more included amenities.
